Nigeria beat Ghana to qualify for 2019 African U17 Cup of Nations

                                       

Nigeria has qualified for the 2019 U-17 African Cup of Nations, scheduled to hold in Tanzania next year.
The match between Nigeria and Ghana began at 7pm on Saturday, and took place at the Senyi Koutnche Stadium in Niamey.
The Black Starlets took the lead in the 54th minutes but Manu Garba’s boys levelled scores through Akinwunmi Amoo.
At full time, the match ended 1-1 and the winner had to be decided by penalty kicks.
All except Amoo scored while the Ghanaians were only lucky once.
At the end of the match, the Golden Eaglets carried the day 3-1 as WAFU Zone B winners.
In the third place match played earlier in the day, Niger Republic beat Cote d’Ivoire 2-0 at Seyni Kountche .
 Nigeria join hosts Tanzania, Morocco, Cameroon, Uganda and Angola to determine the top four teams that will qualify for the 2019 FiFA U17 World Cup in Peru.
