Andy Murray exits US Open after Fernando Verdasco defeat

                                                         
Andy Murray fell to a second-round defeat at the US Open as he was beaten in four sets by Spaniard Fernando Verdasco.
The former world No 1, who was champion in 2012, came into the match with a 13-1 head-to-head record against the Verdasco but was outlasted  7-5 2-6 6-4 6-4 in  hot weather in absorbing three hours and 23 minutes in Manhattan, New York.
Verdasco will face another former champion in  Argentine ,Juan Martin del Potro on Friday after the Argentine who defeated  American Denis Kudla 6-3 6-1 7-6 (7-4).
Del Potro, who won at Flushing Meadows in 2009, fired 20 aces and didn't face a break point against the world No 72.
